Leadership
The U.S.-Africa Trade Commission is privileged to be guided by a Board of Governors, who represent top-level executive leadership, experience, wisdom and a broad cross-section of the business community across the US-Africa trade axis. Members of the Board participate on committees, Trade Commission signature events and provide direct and indirect support for the organization through building the membership, sponsoring events, attendance and applying the wisdom necessary to exercise fiscal responsibility in the short and long terms.
The Trade Commission and members benefit from the knowledge, experience and interests of the business executives serving on the Board of Governors. A seat on the Board of Governors includes these benefits:
- Meetings will offer opportunities to receive advance information pertinent to the Trade Commission progress, to hear from speakers of timely importance and to be represented as issues about the future are discussed

The Management team of the Trade Commission has the responsibility of hands-on management of the Trade Commission , reviewing financial statements in detail, making policy recommendations to the Board of Governors and implementing approved policies.
